What other customers whom have bought Kindle Paperwhite are saying:
The following feedback are from customers whom have bought Kindle Paperwhite and Paperwhite 3G at Amazon Store

Pros of Kindle Paperwhite:
  • Michael Gallagher: "Reading at night is a good experience with the lighting display in comparison to the other versions of Kindle because you don't need an additional light that can get in the way: it didn't disturb, for example, my wife who likes to watch TV in a dark room. It was also very convenient on a plane ride at night as I was able to see the full page of the text vs. a light attachment only reaching most of the screen: there are no impediments to the reading screen."
  • Scott: "The Kindle Paperwhite is definitely upgrade-worthy for all previous kindle users who read more than a few books a year. A stunning display, better touch sensitivity, and software features that Amazon should have come out with years ago, finally make the Kindle the undisputed leader in the e-reader market. Previously I would go back and forth between my Kindle Touch and Fire when reading books, but the Paperwhite is such a pleasure to use that I can't imagine ever choosing the Fire over it again. If you are an avid reader and have never purchased a Kindle before, the Paperwhite will really give you an appreciation for how far these devices have come."
  • Phil: "I wanted a simple and inexpensive e-book reader. This Kindle Paperwhite has many capabilities beyond what I need and I'm sure that as I get used to it, I will find myself taking advantage of them from time to time (web browsing, for example). It does not have audio capability nor was I looking for that. This Kindle does exactly what I want, it works well, and is very elegant and well made. I am very happy with my purchase and looking forward to many years of enjoyment."

Cons of Kindle Paperwhite:
  • Scott: "No Power adapter. It comes with a micro-usb charging cable, but you have to have a computer or already own a power adapter from another product to be able to charge it. Amazon did this with the Touch as well and I think it is absolutely ridiculous. I know Amazon wants to charge separately for this but I think not including one is really greedy. If you need one, you may want to buy the Kindle Power Adapter although I'm sure you could probably find a much cheaper one somewhere."
  • Ben Silber: "I haven't seen a lot of people talking about the battery life in their reviews, so I wanted to make this a point in mine. The battery is good. SO you're asking "why is it in the cons?" Well, the answer is it's not great. I had left my KK alone for months at a time without the battery even going past 25% battery left."
  • Tyler: "The downsides of this device are few and far between. The chief amongst them, for me, is the lack of page turn buttons. Leaving the buttons out was, most likely, a move to cut costs. While I cannot abide by folks who say "Just tap the screen and keep your hands clean," I find that this lack of buttons is far outweighed by the positives this device brings to the table."
